Facial Esthetics

Smiling Patient

These treatments can instantly smooth away wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and nose.

Our mission at 508-Dentist is to provide our patients with the care and treatment that results in a happy, healthy and beautiful smile. That smile is the focal point of your face. Offering services that complement the smile and enhance our patient’s natural beauty across the entirety of their face is the reason we now offer a variety of facial esthetics services.

Non-surgical facial esthetics are a series of procedures and treatments administered by a medical professional that reduce the signs of aging and promote a more youthful, well-rested appearance. The services we offer help minimize complaint areas such as folds and sagging skin, wrinkles and crow’s feet, forehead and eyebrow lines, and even those dreaded laugh lines or “parentheses” (nasolabial folds or marionette lines) that form around the sides of the mouth – all areas that can detract from a beautiful smile.

The options we offer are non-surgical techniques performed in our offices that do not permanently augment a patient’s facial structure, and are administered under the guidelines and training of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). In most cases, the results last anywhere from a few months to a year depending on the treatment and patient response.

We currently provide three facial esthetic functions:

During these Procedures

All of the facial esthetic treatment options listed above are performed in our office by our AAFE-trained medical practitioners. During your consultation before the procedure, please make sure to advise us of all medical issues, including current illnesses, recent or planned surgeries, all medications (including over-the-counter drugs like NSAIDS and aspirins), and any allergies.

Each procedure will vary slightly based on the products selected and the number of areas to be treated. However, most patients can expect a fairly similar experience, one that can typically be completed in the same time it takes to get a teeth cleaning.

The facial areas selected for treatment will be cleaned and prepped, and may be slightly numbed with topical or injectable local anesthetic. The medications are then injected with a fine needle into the skin. The number of injections will vary based on the extent of the treatment. Some results will be immediate, others may take a few days to be realized completely. And in a few cases, multiple treatments may be required to obtain the desired results.

During and after the injections, patients may experience some mild discomfort. Redness, swelling and even minor bruising may occur, but usually subside quickly. Once the procedure is finished, you may return to normal everyday activities. There is no down time required.

These safe and simple procedures are giving our patients a refreshed and younger-looking appearance.
